Vinification
Grapes are hand-picked at the peak of their maturity. After soft de-stemming they were gently pressed in a pneumatic press. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature of 16-18°C for 3-4 weeks, which is followed by further refinement in the stainless steel reservoirs.
Tasting Notes
TELAVURI white dry wine is traditional for the Telavi region of Kakheti. Produced from the local white grapes, grown on both banks of Alazani river, this light straw color wine is inimitable perfect with traditional lamb and veal dishes, as well as with poultry and vegetable salads. |
