Vinification

Grapes are hand picked at the peak of their maturity. Soft de-stemming and crushing is followed by fermentation at controlled temperature (25-28°C), which is complemented by aging in stainless steel tanks and bottles at the optimum temperature.

Tasting Notes

TELAVURI red dry wine is traditional for the Telavi region of Kakheti. Produced from the local red grapes, grown on both banks of Alazani river, the wine shows dark ruby color and velvety mouthfeel. It is a perfect match to all types of grilled meat, especially pork and beef.
